Human Primary Cells

Isolated primary cells are propagated at Asterand for limited periods of time and cryopreserved after minimal numbers of passages. These cells maintain their differentiated state and can be used as an in vitro model system for studying molecular changes associated with disease.
 
All primary cells are provided in cryovials containing approximately 1x106 cells.
 
Asterand generates primary cell cultures from a range of different fresh human tissue and cell types. Our currently available cultures of  cryopreserved primary cells can be found in this section. Asterand scientists can isolate primary cells from most tissues. If you are interested in custom isolation, please send an e-mail to customerservice@asterand.com and you will be put in touch with appropriate Regional Director of Business Development who will help you with your specific research needs.
