All of the cell lines available from Asterand were developed in conjunction with different academic institutions.  As a result of our agreements with these institutions, we offer our cell lines to academic and governmental researchers and non-profit research organizations at prices lower than those available to our commercial customers. To enroll in the Academic Pricing Program please email us with your name and shipping address at academics@asterand.com. We’ll reply to you with an account password, enabling you to view our products and prices available through this program. In the meantime, we encourage you to browse the site for more product information.

KCI-MOH1

KCI-MOH1, a human pancreatic tumor cell line, was derived from a xenograft model of adenocarcinoma of the pancreas.
MCF10DCIS.com
Our Price: $7,000.00

MCF10DCIS.com is a clonal breast cancer cell line. Pre-malignant MCF10AT cells were injected into severe combined immunodeficient (SCID) mice, resulting in tumor growth. The DCIS.com line was cloned from cell culture of this xenograft. Injection of the MCF10DCIS.com cells into SCID mice results in rapidly growing lesions that are predominantly comedo DCIS.  The tumor mass of these tumors is composed of tightly packed tubular structures, many with central necrosis.

WSU-AML, a new human aggressive AML cell line, was established from frozen peripheral blood of a patient with AML. The cell line showed a partial interstitial deletion of the long arm (q) of chromosome 9.  Phenotypically, the cell line is consistent with a diagnosis of M7 AML.

WSU-DLCL2, a human diffuse large cell lymphoma cell line, is a mature B-cell line (IgG l) that is negative for EBV nuclear antigen, expresses the multi-drug resistance phenotype, and has t (14;18) (q32;q21) plus other chromosomal aberrations.

WSU-Pre-B-ALL, a new human EBV negative pre-B-Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia, was established from frozen peripheral blood of a patient with ALL in leukemic phase.  Both the frozen cells and the established cell line exhibit t (1;19) chromosomal translocation, partial deletion of the short arm (p) of chromosome 9 and a loss of chromosome 13 as clonal abnormalities.
